Viola Fletcher's Life Story

Viola Fletcher is 107 years old and is a survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre. The White mob massacre she and her brothers endured in 1921 destroyed the prosperous black town of Greenwood and left hundreds murdered and discarded in the streets and river. Today, Viola shares her story in an effort to ensure people understand and acknowledge one of the darkest incidents of racial violence in U.S. history.
